Rules and FAQ
- No coupon codes necessary, all items will be marked down
- Gift card will be automatically added to your cart at no extra cost when your cart value is above $125.
- Customers will receive one Gift Card per $125 spent (e.g. if you spend $250, you are eligible for two $40 gift cards).
- All orders will reach shipping facilities in time for Christmas delivery.
- Portland Gear is not responsible for delays once the package is in the hands of the carrier.
- No additional coupon codes will be valid due to already large discounts/deals.
- Gift cards may not be used in purchases which include another gift card (e.g. you may not use a $40 gift card to pay for an order that includes another $40 gift card in the shopping cart).
- Unlimited return and exchange protection available at checkout.
Tips and Tricks from the Past
- Popular items will sell out quickly. Be sure to shop early to secure your desired items while they are still available.
- Putting an item in your cart does not reserve the item; you must check out.
- Portland Gear normally has orders in the hands of the postal service within 1-4 business days - please allow some extra time for order fulfillment due to increased volume during the holidays.
- Please be patient! We will work hard for you. We understand many orders are presents and they must be delivered quickly.
How to receive your $40 Gift Card
- PG Online / App: Once your cart reaches $125, your $40 gift card will automatically be added to your cart at no extra cost. You’ll also receive an emailed digital code for that gift card, which becomes active immediately. Note: If you redeem your gift card during our promo weekend, it won’t qualify for an additional $40 gift card.
- In-Store: When you spend $125 or more at any of our Portland Gear locations, an associate will automatically add your $40 gift card to your transaction. At checkout, you will need to provide your email, and the digital code for the gift card will be sent directly to you. This code will be active immediately, allowing you to use it on a same-day purchase if you choose. Note: If you redeem your gift card in store during our promo weekend, it won’t qualify for an additional $40 gift card.

New Locations
Portland Gear has expanded in a big way over the past six months. In case you haven’t heard, we opened two new shopping locations, bringing our total to four unique spots for you to shop this holiday season. Along with our Downtown Portland and Washington Square locations, travelers can now find us right at the Portland International Airport (PDX), where you can grab some local gear while waiting to catch your flight. Additionally, we’ve rolled out a VW Bus pop-up shop at Clackamas Town Center. These new locations make it easier than ever to find your favorite Portland Gear products, just in time for the holidays!
Special Release
We’re excited to unveil the Capers colorway in our Cloudburst collection and a cream colorway of our Cascade Duffle, both dropping on sale! These additions combine fresh, new colors with the same water-resistant material that our Cloudburst and Cascade lines are known for.
