We are so excited to be bringing in Mel from SandiLake clothing for Gear and Beer this week! Mel wanted to create a brand that was simple and modern to dress her kids. SandiLake launched in 2014. She was working out of her garage and selling from an ETSY shop and has since opened a storefront and was featured on ABC's Shark Tank!
We have been working on a new collaboration and will release a shirt for both kids and adults at the Gear and Beer event.
Come hang out, grab a beer and ask Mel questions!
Wednesday, February 22nd - 7pm. All ages welcome

We had the opportunity to team up with OHSU Doernbecher for a collab called "Hero Hats". For every hat sold we will be donating 3 hats to cancer patients and their families at Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
We are so excited to be able to provide a little glimpse of light in an often darker situation. We all know someone battling cancer, whether it be a friend, family, or maybe even you. With your help we can put a P cap on those individuals who need a little pick me up. Learn more about what you can do to help by clicking here or support the cause now.
As we plan and design for our spring collection we have decided to pre-release a couple of products in the meantime.
The epitome of 1960's athletics, this satin letterman jacket is the perfect way to rep your Portland pride. Made from the highest quality Belmont blue satin material, the P is appliquéd to the left chest. This jacket is being added to the collection with a bit of extra padding for warmth going into the spring season.
Back by popular demand, our Strideline P socks. These one size fits all socks are the real deal. They fit Meyers Leonard with a size 16 and women with a size 6.
Our black and olive Burnside Beanie has been extended to a charcoal gray. This knit beanie has a woven tag that allows it to be worn folded or unfolded.
With Portland being one of the biggest coffee hubs in the country, why not drink your coffee in style? Our new ceramic teal mug is both sleek and elegant in design.
The final addition to our pre-release is our Est. 2017 onesie.
Last night we had the pleasure of bringing in Keely and Erika of Wild Friends to speak at our monthly Gear and Beer event. We had so much fun hearing their story and tasting all of their nut butter flavors. These two girls brought a fun atmosphere with them and we are so excited to continue to follow along with their journey.
From making their first jar on a rainy afternoon in their college apartment at UO, to owning a successful nut butter company, these two girls have had quite the journey over the last 6 years. When they first started making nut butter they never imagined that they would end up leaving UO, starring on the show Shark Tank, and ending up on Forbes 30 under 30 list. Wild Friends is now seen in stores all across the country.
As we dive into 2017 we are excited to engage and collaborate with even more small businesses, business owners, athletes, and people in the community.
In 2016 we launched a monthly event called "Gear and Beer" where we invite a notable business owner or person in the community to come speak. We invite our customers to come engage and ask questions. This allows individuals not only to gain an inside perspective on the speaker and Portland Gear, but also basic operations of starting a business or career in the Portland area.
This year we plan host even more individuals to come speak and we invite you to come participate in the event! We host Gear and Beer events on the third Thursday of every month. This is an all ages event with beer for people 21+.
Thank you to those who participated with us in 2016!
We had a blast as we brought in the new year with our friends at River Pig! The rainy Portland weather definitely did not stop the party! We shut down the streets to traffic and filled them with people ready to celebrate. Between the silent disco, cigars, and the non-stop dancing, the atmosphere of the party didn't die down until far after the new year was brought in.
Cheers to 2017!
Between opening our first location, collabs with local companies and athletes, numerous sporting events, ridiculous snap chats, and various projects, 2016 was a big year. As the year comes to a close, we rewind and pause, gearing up for big things as we to charge into 2017. Here are a few highlights that made the year memorable - thanks for being a part of it!
