Behind The Scenes
The Portland Gear team took to the Oregon coast earlier this month to test out some brand-new products in real-life scenarios. For this staycation shoot, we each packed our Cascade Weekenders for a three day trip, threw on our matching Chocolate Cloudburst sets, and after winding roads and two coffees each, we arrived at the cutest Airbnb in Manzanita: two stories, four bedrooms, and a very dreamy backyard...
Mid-day our two wonderful models joined us and immediately stepped into full *girls trip* mode. They were a blast to shoot with and made the day feel even more fun. Between Tik-Toks, video ads, and a whole lot of flash photography—the day flew by. When we wrapped, we headed straight to a cozy Italian spot and indulged in way too much pasta and cheese.

If there's one thing I know about our team, it's that we loveeee putting our products to the test. Getting to work for a brand where you genuinely care about what you create, sell, and market is something we never take for granted.
I asked Lauryn, "what's your favorite part of the Cascade Weekender?"
And, she responded: “Being able to put your dirty shoes or clothes in the separate bottom compartment is a game changerrrrr. Especially here, when everything is covered in sand and mud - I don’t want all that getting on the rest of my things!”
