Behind The Scenes
Portland Gear took to the coast earlier this month to capture the Tracer Jacket in the wild, doing exactly what it was made to do. We stayed at a stunning Airbnb in Manzanita, Oregon, which allowed us to explore multiple types of surrounding terrain. From sand dunes and low tides to waterfalls and mushroom-filled forests, we spent 3 days enjoying Oregon's coastal small-town life. And, I speak for the whole group when I say we enjoyed every second of it! Nothing beats trying a new coffee shop in the early morning and finishing the day off at a local pasta spot.
Shoot Day:
Through morning sun, windy dunes, and the dark, rainy woods—the Tracer Jacket kept us completely dry and cozy. One of our favorite features is how easily sand brushes right off it. And, when the rain cleared, we were able to roll up the entire jacket and fit it inside our Cascade bags! At Portland Gear, we're extremely passionate about the products we make and will take every opportunity to test them out—that's something that will never change.

What’s To Come...
During this shoot we brought two additional products with us to capture. One just so happens to be our beloved Cloudburst sets in a brand-new shade (sneak peak above), and the other is a long-overdue travel item that starts with “weekend” and ends with “er”... November is going to bring a handful of things that our customers are going to LOVE. We can’t wait to share everything with you and spend the holidays together!
