1. Free Returns and Exchanges Available:
When you opt-in for Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges at checkout, your return shipping label is included, allowing you to return any item(s) in your order for a refund or exchange for FREE. If you decide not to buy Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges you can still return your items, but you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label. All returns are subject to the guidelines outlined in our Return Policy. Please note that the original shipping fee and the $1.98 charge for Free Returns & Package Protection is always non-refundable.

We offer you the flexibility to return or exchange your items either in-store or online, no matter where you initially purchased your order. Visit one of our physical locations to complete the return/exchange, or head to https://returns.portlandgear.com to complete through the mail. If you purchased your order in-store and don’t have a shipping address on file, you will need to email team@portlandgear.com for assistance.

We want you to shop confidently, which is why we're offering a generous 90-day return window for a full refund. If you decide within 90 days of your purchase that it’s not quite right for you, simply return your item in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached) for a full refund.

If it’s been more than 90 days, no worries! You are still eligible to make a return after 90 days, but instead of a refund you will receive store credit as long as the item(s) are unworn, unwashed, and has the original tags attached, we’ll issue store credit for the current value of the product.

Upon inspection, we will determine whether to repair, replace, or issue store credit for the defective item.
Limitation of Liability:
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the bag. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages.

ReGear is Portland Gear's repair program designed to extend the life of your gear and reduce unnecessary waste by restoring eligible bags whenever possible.

At this time, ReGear is focused on common zipper issues, including:

What ReGear Does Not Cover
ReGear is not intended for all forms of bag damage and does not currently cover:

Cosmetic wear and tear
Please note that if an issue is not eligible for ReGear, it may still qualify for warranty coverage. We encourage customers to submit a request through our warranty portal so our team can review the item and determine the best resolution.

Before Shipping Your Bag

Portland Gear is not responsible for items left inside or attached to bags and cannot replace lost personal belongings.
Repair Resolution
Once received, your bag will be evaluated by our team. Depending on the condition of the item, we may:

If a bag cannot be repaired, we will determine the best resolution based on warranty status and item condition.

Typical ReGear turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks from the date the item is received.
6. Additional Notes for Luggage Returns, Exchanges & Warranties
To help us ensure every traveler receives luggage that meets our quality standards, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

Keep your original box. All luggage must be returned or exchanged in its original packaging.

Photo of wheels required. Returns and exchanges must include a clear photo of the bottoms of the wheels so our team can verify the item hasn’t been used.

Used luggage is not eligible for a full refund or exchange.

Warranty requests require detailed photos. Claims submitted without photos cannot be approved.
7. Special Circumstances
Incorrect Shipping Address
If you enter the wrong shipping address, contact us right away at team@portlandgear.com. We’ll do our best to update it before fulfillment, but we can’t guarantee changes once the order is processed.
After an order ships, we can’t modify the address or contact the carrier. You may reach out to the carrier directly, though changes aren’t guaranteed.
If the package is returned to us, we can resend it to the correct address at no cost. However, if it’s not returned, we’re unable to replace or refund the order.
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout to avoid delivery issues.
Returning Multiple Orders in One Box
If you are returning items from multiple orders in the same package, you must include a note inside the box with the following information:

If requesting an exchange, clearly state the item and color you would like in return
This information is required so our warehouse team can properly identify and process your return. If a note is not included, our warehouse may not be able to match the items to the correct order. International Returns & Exchanges
At this time, all international orders are considered final sale. As a small business, international shipping costs are extremely high, and there are frequent complications with customs when processing returns, exchanges, or warranty replacements. Because of this, we are unable to offer exchanges or returns on orders shipped outside of the United States.
If there is an error with your order due to a mistake on our end (for example, you received the wrong item), please contact us at team@portlandgear.com and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution.

The Cascade crossbody is a stylish and super functional bag! It’s a go to for travel because of its size and ability to carry the key items you need on a travel day! I love the wireframe in the opening so that I can see inside and it doesn’t collapse in when I’m trying to get something. It’s high quality and the color blush is so pretty!! I want it in every color now!
Mostly great - good material, opening works as intended, good form. Just know that all of the elements, including the logo, may be slightly crooked compared to one another and the fabric grain, which drops the overall impression down to more of a knock-off product appearance.
I bought this great shoulder bag to see if I like the product. I am literally shopping for more and definitely going with a backpack and laptop case.

Great daily bag
I haven’t figured out how to wear this yet. So far when I’ve tried it on, it makes me feel bulky. Maybe if the strap was removable or attached differently it would be easier to wear. That said, it’s a beautiful little bag and pockets/ storage well designed.
Such an amazing bag especially in a drizzly place like Seattle. I never worry about anything getting wet. It has several pockets that hold all of my basics. The strap is adjustable and comfortable for cross body wear. I also attached a carabiner with a reusable bag to mine so I never forget it!
I bought one for myself and one for my mom to travel thru Ireland. It was perfect to keep everything safe and dry. We even ran into someone else who had the same bag! Love Portland Gear!
Awesome bag! Love the color. Only complaints are: I wish it would go tighter so I could use as hip bag, I feel like the straps could be more ergonomic and slightly offset to fit better as crossbody, and I wish there were more colors. I also prefer the two-tone colorways rather than the all-over solid colors.
Just got the Cascade Tote and the Crossbody and I love them so much! The color is perfection! The tote is the perfect size to carry everything I need and to keep it organized! When the tote is open I can see and easily access everything! And the Crossbody fits perfectly inside the Tote and holds my phone and any other essentials that I might need to carry into a store, etc… when I don’t need the full size bag. This is exactly what I needed!

I purchased the crossbody in fog, a lovely cool neutral. Would have loved this in cream. The stiff zipper allows for wide opening of the crossbody while wearing it. Though I do agree with another reviewer that the flaps of zipper length on the sides is visually distracting, you can either ignore it or tack it down with a snap. This is not a deal breaker for me. Holds my phone, sunglasses, and wallet easily!

I love the roominess of this bag and the superior construction. I am not a fan of the wide strap since it is so long it gets bulky when shortened to a wearable length. With the exception of the strap, I love this bag. It has room enough for a phone , air pods, cards and even a light rain jacket. I gifted one that was impressive for using while skiing. It held all she needed and was so much more convenient than a backpack. I also have a Portland Gear backpack (it’s great) and would definitely buy from them again.
I love my lavender crossbody bag, lots of space inside and super stylish
I bought this cross-body to replace the three fanny packs I’ve had forever, and disliked wearing on either the front or back of my waist. The Portland Gear cross-body is high quality all around, with a lot more capacity than it looks like. It is comfortable to wear. I took it to Antarctica to carry my passport, wallet, travel docs, phone, AirTag, pen, iPods, and some random small items (lip palm, sanitizer, …). The main compartment opens wide on the top edge, which is so much better than having the main zip on the front. When moving from plane to airport to shuttle, etc, I put this bag inside my Portland Gear compact backpack so I had fewer items to handle, or lose.
I have tried probably 15 types of cross-body, shoulder and messenger bags in recent years, and each one left me wanting. Wanting more room, less bulk, more comfort…. The Cascade Cross Body checks all the boxes. Holds a surprising amount of daily stuff, without excess bulk, and it rides light on the shoulder with enough adjustability in the strap for just the right fit. And of course, it’s the perfect companion for my Cascade Compact Backpack, both in Navy.
I use it when I go paddle boarding on the lake all the time and swim with it in the water and never have any issues with getting wet inside!

I got a new crossbody because I was tired of the zippers opening on my old one and I use it all the time so I needed durability - this one hit the mark on all of it - the structure of the top is awesome, it’s waterproof and the zippers don’t move unintentionally. I definitely recommend this product and it matches perfectly with my tote bag that I also still love and use everyday for work!
Cross body bag is a great size for every day use. I have two small issues; one being when I fill the inside pockets, it gets full really quickly. It doesn’t seem like I can actually USE all of the interior pockets at one time. Also, I can’t zip/unzip the main compartment w/o using both hands as the zipper is a little stiff due to the waterproof zippers. Overall very comfortable and almost completely waterproof.
The bag is fabulous. It would be perfect if the strap was short enough to wear as a hip pouch. I ended up using a carabiner to make it short enough to wear that way and even though you can see the carabiner and it probably looks silly I love the bag enough that I don’t care.

I love this Crossbody… enough to have it in pink black fog and now navy blue. They have a tremendous amount of space more than you usually get in a fanny pack of that nature. I started off with the black thinking about dirt because I use it when I ride my bikes, camping hiking backpacking, you name it. I now use them all the time for my every day stuff going back-and-forth to work and going to the store. It’s just so much easier than a regular purse hence the different colors.

Hangs better than any other crossbody I’ve had and due to the oblong shape more stuff fits in (such as my glasses). More pockets too. Love it!!

Small and fits what I need. I am not sure if the strap’s clasp will hold since it is thin. Long strap fits around chest while wearing a winter coat.
