Return/Exchange/Warranty Policy
1. Free Returns and Exchanges Available:
When you opt-in for Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges at checkout, your return shipping label is included, allowing you to return any item(s) in your order for a refund or exchange for FREE. If you decide not to buy Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges you can still return your items, but you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label. All returns are subject to the guidelines outlined in our Return Policy. Please note that the original shipping fee and the $1.98 charge for Free Returns & Package Protection is always non-refundable.

We offer you the flexibility to return or exchange your items either in-store or online, no matter where you initially purchased your order. If you purchased your order in-store and don’t have a shipping address on file, you will need to email team@portlandgear.com for assistance.

We want you to shop confidently, which is why we're offering a generous 90-day return window for a full refund. If you decide within 90 days of your purchase that it’s not quite right for you, simply return your item in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached) for a full refund.

If it’s been more than 90 days, no worries! You are still eligible to make a return after 90 days, but instead of a refund you will receive store credit as long as the item(s) are unworn, unwashed, and has the original tags attached, we’ll issue store credit for the current value of the product.

Upon inspection, we will determine whether to repair, replace, or issue store credit for the defective item.
Limitation of Liability:
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the bag. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages.

ReGear is Portland Gear's repair program designed to extend the life of your gear and reduce unnecessary waste by restoring eligible bags whenever possible.

At this time, ReGear is focused on common zipper issues, including:

What ReGear Does Not Cover
ReGear is not intended for all forms of bag damage and does not currently cover:

Zippers separating from fabric

Broken zipper pulls

Damage caused by force, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs

Cosmetic wear and tear
Please note that if an issue is not eligible for ReGear, it may still qualify for warranty coverage. We encourage customers to submit a request through our warranty portal so our team can review the item and determine the best resolution.

For approved repairs outside the warranty period, customers are responsible for shipping costs.

Before Shipping Your Bag

Portland Gear is not responsible for items left inside or attached to bags and cannot replace lost personal belongings.
Repair Resolution
Once received, your bag will be evaluated by our team. Depending on the condition of the item, we may:

If a bag cannot be repaired, we will determine the best resolution based on warranty status and item condition.
Repair Turnaround Time
Typical ReGear turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks from the date the item is received.
6. Additional Notes for Luggage Returns, Exchanges & Warranties
To help us ensure every traveler receives luggage that meets our quality standards, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

Keep your original box. All luggage must be returned or exchanged in its original packaging.

Photo of wheels required. Returns and exchanges must include a clear photo of the bottoms of the wheels so our team can verify the item hasn’t been used.

Used luggage is not eligible for a full refund or exchange.

Warranty requests require detailed photos. Claims submitted without photos cannot be approved.
7. Special Circumstances
Incorrect Shipping Address
If you enter the wrong shipping address, contact us right away at team@portlandgear.com. We’ll do our best to update it before fulfillment, but we can’t guarantee changes once the order is processed.
After an order ships, we can’t modify the address or contact the carrier. You may reach out to the carrier directly, though changes aren’t guaranteed.
If the package is returned to us, we can resend it to the correct address at no cost. However, if it’s not returned, we’re unable to replace or refund the order.
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout to avoid delivery issues.
Returning Multiple Orders in One Box
If you are returning items from multiple orders in the same package, you must include a note inside the box with the following information:

This information is required so our warehouse team can properly identify and process your return. If a note is not included, our warehouse may not be able to match the items to the correct order. International Returns & Exchanges
At this time, all international orders are considered final sale. As a small business, international shipping costs are extremely high, and there are frequent complications with customs when processing returns, exchanges, or warranty replacements. Because of this, we are unable to offer exchanges or returns on orders shipped outside of the United States.
If there is an error with your order due to a mistake on our end (for example, you received the wrong item), please contact us at team@portlandgear.com and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution.
Please note that “ALL SALES FINAL” items are not covered under our return and exchange policy. This includes all personalized items.

The size of the duffle bag was perfect! It held everything I needed and more for my long weekend trip. I also used the Cascade Kit-Standard to hold other toiletries. Also loved how much it held. Love that the bags are waterproof as it was raining when we were unloading the car. Great purchase and great product!
Very stylish very sturdy can hold a lot of clothes and personal items for travel and I get so many compliments on it and the technology on the zippers is the best I’ve seen.

Great looking bag with plenty of room for a short trip.
Love my duffel and backpack for traveling. The backpack has been my go to for all trips for many years. The duffel is the newest to the PG luggage family. It was great for my recent trip to Florida, because it fit perfectly in the overhead bin. Major bonus that they are waterproof.

Everything is great quality and has a lot of room/pockets. My wife especially loves the small cascade charm. We would highly recommend all of the products shown, you won’t regret it.
One of the best duffel bag ever created and I use it for my travel to Israel and LA for the holidays and the duffel bag was for all the stuff like snacks, chocolate and candy from Israel and fits a lot of clothes as well. The only duffel bag that I don’t have back pain.

I had been eyeing Portland Gear for a long time on Instagram and finally decided to make a purchase… and I was not disappointed. The bag is excellent quality and fits enough clothes for a 6 day trip. I had an issue with the snap on the bag, and my customer service experience was excellent… they resolved the issue quickly. I will be purchasing more in the future.

Packed for a three weeks trip. I loved that I could see everything in my duffle and it was still light considering all the items that were packed.
I just flew from St. Louis Missouri via Atlanta, Georgia to Amsterdam to Vienna, Austria, and used my cascade duffel bag, luggage tag, laptop, sleeve, and wore my Portland Gear dad hat. All high quality.! LUV your products!!!

My Portland gear collection started a couple years ago. I started with the cascade backpack, the OD green sold me on it. (Green is my fav color) The backpack is perfect for me. I then was looking for the cascade kit, and I noticed the Forest green cascade backpack compact. I had to have it, I use it mostly for mountain biking. The cascade kit is perfect for all my basic needs for beard maintenance. So I got both of those on my second purchase. I then came across the cascade duffle and the green sunglasses, (green…) and had to get them as well. I really like the large open mouth design on all the bags. It makes it easy to access items. My next purchase will probably be the cascade pouch. Hopefully it will come in green in the future. Hint hint… Portable Gear knows how to make a quality product, and I’m glad I found them. I am 100% satisfied with all of my wonderful bags. Thanks you Portland Gear for making some great products.
First purchase from Portland Gear. Got the full size backpack in Cloud and the duffle in black. Traveled from Portland to Michigan for a week. Fit enough clothes, 2 pair of shoes, makeup, pills, water bottle, snacks and a book. Plenty of room using both of these. Bought the Kit in cloud at the airport when I stopped to check out their little shop!! Would highly recommend and will be getting the smaller backpack in Rose when it restocks !
I am all set for adventures with my new Portland Gear gear! These bags are the best. I especially love the green backpack - would love a duffle in that color.
This design is perfect for the 3-day business trip. Dress shoes, slacks, shirts, toiletry bag. Adequate pockets inside for charging cords, reading material, snacks and few office odds and ends that don’t need to be in the Cascade Backpack I never leave behind. The shoulder strap is smartly designed with the offset clips and extra padded strap sleeve.

I just love this company. The quality of the products are outstanding. I started with the backpack and carry-on. I am so pleased. I used them in London on a recent trip. I did get caught in the rain one day but everything inside stayed nice and dry. The duffle was a perfect addition when I need to bring more than will fit in the carry-on. I can also use it to keep dirty clothes separate from the clean ones when traveling or for times when I don’t need to bring a whole lot with me.

Nice size nice quality
I have never been a fan of backpacks and I didn’t use this as a backpack. I used it as a carry on that holds a ton of stuff and fits nicely on my suitcase. Love how it opens and how much it holds. I’ll probably never use the back pack feature and that’s fine with me!

Greta material, great design, but only good as a travel bag and only when full. If all you're looking for is a travel duffel and not something to use every day, then this is a great bag. If you want an every day bag, to take to the gym, take around town, to replace a backpack? Then I think there are better options out there. The bag is awkward when not entirely filled, a bit too large and floppy for an everyday bag. It would be great if there was a way to keep the bag flat when not full by pinning the handles to the base.
