1. Free Returns and Exchanges Available:
When you opt-in for Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges at checkout, your return shipping label is included, allowing you to return any item(s) in your order for a refund or exchange for FREE. If you decide not to buy Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges you can still return your items, but you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label. All returns are subject to the guidelines outlined in our Return Policy. Please note that the original shipping fee and the $1.98 charge for Free Returns & Package Protection is always non-refundable.

We want you to shop confidently, which is why we're offering a generous 90-day return window for a full refund. If you decide within 90 days of your purchase that it’s not quite right for you, simply return your item in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached) for a full refund.
If it’s been more than 90 days, no worries! You are still eligible to make a return after 90 days, but instead of a refund you will receive store credit as long as the item(s) are unworn, unwashed, and has the original tags attached, we’ll issue store credit for the current value of the product.

What ReGear Does Not Cover
ReGear is not intended for all forms of bag damage and does not currently cover:
Zippers separating from fabric
Broken zipper pulls
Separated zipper teeth
Damage caused by force, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs
Cosmetic wear and tear
Please note that if an issue is not eligible for ReGear, it may still qualify for warranty coverage. We encourage customers to submit a request through our warranty portal so our team can review the item and determine the best resolution.
Eligibility & Cost
Eligible Cascade bags within 2 years of purchase may qualify for complimentary repair.
For approved repairs outside the warranty period, customers are responsible for shipping costs.
One approved ReGear repair is available per warranty period.

Submit your request through our warranty portal at https://returns.portlandgear.com and include:
Order number (required, including gifts)
Proof of purchase
Description of the issue
Clear photos of the bag and zipper
Incomplete submissions may delay review or approval.
Before Shipping Your Bag
Please make sure to:
Empty your bag completely
Remove all pins, accessories, keychains, and personal belongings
Package the bag securely
Portland Gear is not responsible for items left inside or attached to bags and cannot replace lost personal belongings.
Repair Resolution
Once received, your bag will be evaluated by our team. Depending on the condition of the item, we may:
Repair the bag
Replace the bag
Issue store credit
Offer a discounted replacement option
If a bag cannot be repaired, we will determine the best resolution based on warranty status and item condition.
Repair Turnaround Time
Typical ReGear turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks from the date the item is received.
6. Additional Notes for Luggage Returns, Exchanges & Warranties
To help us ensure every traveler receives luggage that meets our quality standards, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
Order numbers are required for all returns, exchanges, and warranty requests — including gifts. Gift recipients must have the original order number to proceed.
Keep your original box. All luggage must be returned or exchanged in its original packaging.
Photo of wheels required. Returns and exchanges must include a clear photo of the bottoms of the wheels so our team can verify the item hasn’t been used.
Used luggage is not eligible for a full refund or exchange.
Warranty requests require detailed photos. Claims submitted without photos cannot be approved.
7. Special Circumstances
Incorrect Shipping Address
If you enter the wrong shipping address, contact us right away at team@portlandgear.com. We’ll do our best to update it before fulfillment, but we can’t guarantee changes once the order is processed.
After an order ships, we can’t modify the address or contact the carrier. You may reach out to the carrier directly, though changes aren’t guaranteed.
If the package is returned to us, we can resend it to the correct address at no cost. However, if it’s not returned, we’re unable to replace or refund the order.
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout to avoid delivery issues.
Returning Multiple Orders in One Box
If you are returning items from multiple orders in the same package, you must include a note inside the box with the following information:
Your full name
All applicable order number(s)
A list of the item(s) being returned or exchanged
If requesting an exchange, clearly state the item and color you would like in return
This information is required so our warehouse team can properly identify and process your return. If a note is not included, our warehouse may not be able to match the items to the correct order. This can delay processing and may result in your return or exchange not being completed. To avoid delays, please ensure all required details are included inside the package before shipping it back.
International Returns & Exchanges
At this time, all international orders are considered final sale. As a small business, international shipping costs are extremely high, and there are frequent complications with customs when processing returns, exchanges, or warranty replacements. Because of this, we are unable to offer exchanges or returns on orders shipped outside of the United States.

I've been looking for a tote that can carry everything in one place: purse, lunch, gym clothes, and a book or crochet project. This tote is perfect and worth every penny! Wasn't quite what I hoped, but still a hip, sleek bag. I have been using a Timbuktu messenger bag for years and wanted a more upscale look so I ordered the Cascade tote. But my biggest frustrations are that it is difficult to zip shut (takes setting the bag down, two hands and a LOT of finagling). You can't just be walking around with the bag on your shoulder and open and close the zipper because of the way it is structured. It is also just not very comfortable to carry. Maybe I am just used to how ergonomic the Timbuktu is and how well the weight is distributed, but with the Portland Gear bag, the straps dig in and start to be uncomfortable with very little weight in the bag. I wish I loved this bag more, but it does look nice so it is going to be my nice professional tote for special events.
This is my black Cascade tote going to rehearsal with me in my car. I carry an iPad, a foot pedal, miscellaneous bulky music accessories and all my daily carry personal items including kleenex, pencils, phone, wallet and water bottle. Everything fits easily. The zippers work smoothly. I love the waterproof seams and the wipe clean coating. The tote has feet to protect the bottom. You can carry by hand or on your shoulders and there is an optional included shoulder strap.There’s a clip to keep the handles on your shoulders if you want. There’s a zipper on the outside back, so you can use the gusset as a pass through with luggage at the airport ,or as a pocket during a work commute. At rehearsal the bag sits next to me very neatly and stands upright with no problem. The tote arrived without creases, and even when packed, is smooth and slim. The design is really optimized to hold a lot without being cumbersome. My first purchase from Portland Gear was a backpack- which is never far away from my side- but I really enjoy the design of this tote even more. And though I love vintage leather handbags, the PG designs are so good I tend to carry PG more often.

Beautiful bag! Purchased for a trip to Spain and it was fully loaded. It is one of the few sizes that fit as a personal item on more stringent airlines. I always worry about zippers but the top zipper seems very durable. Opens nice and wide so it’s easy to find things and plenty of pockets.
I love the size of the cascade tote. It fits my water bottle, travel coffee mug, laptop, and other essentials needed for my long commute. I especially love the durability of the exterior. It’s water proof and stain resistant. All this for a very affordable price!

I am so happy I ordered this in the Leatherite material because it’s become the perfect work bag. Instead of struggling to carry in multiple bottles, a lunch bag, and a work bag, the tote holds everything. The straps feel durable and sturdy even when the bag itself is packed full.

Love my new Cascade bag! Just returned from a trip to Florida. I liked how the bag fit on top of my carry with the ability to attach to the handle for easy transport through the airport. Also has many compartments on the inside as well as padded area for my laptop. As a business owner, I travel a lot and rarely check a bag. Portland Gear knows a secret: If you provide ample pockets, just enough structure, and luggage pass-throughs on the back of bags made with quality materials, they will come. Look, I love to travel and I hate carrying a huge suitcase -I'm no minimalist. So, I travel modularly. This bag enables me to take a smaller suitcase and still have plenty of room to stick the rest of my clothes or shoes/accessories. It fits neatly on the handle of my suitcase so I'm not struggling with my luggage getting onto the rental car shuttle or onto the escalator at the airport. I'm not a fan of the struggle with luggage and I find with this bag (and I got the matching backpack as well) I am struggle free.

Headed to Wales for two weeks. Super glad I invested in my second piece of Portland Gear. This bag is bigger than my previous one, nearly too big, but… I love that it has fixed the three major problems I had. This one slides over the handles, has a place for my water bottle, and stands nicely! Not to mention the other organizational highlights inside. Such a great bag. I know it will wear well and get used for years to come.
I have a collection of Portland Gear and l've gifted a few to friends and family. The rubber feet are somewhat rounded so what I thought was a defect is actually how the product was built. There are thoughtful features like the front zipper pocket with a key clip, the internal water bottle and zippered pocket, and I love this shade of green. So I'm keeping it but wishing it could stand up.

Works well for home health nursing bag. Love it. Handled recent rain storm well. Right size. Really glad I decided to use this bag. It is large inside and has room for the things I need most while working. Daily cleans after each patient and is very easy to carry.

Portland gear is the real deal.. I sat on the fence for a while until they launched Leatherlite and jumped in for Cascade std day 1. Love it. So much so, i had them make me custom logo bags for my staff which came out awesome. Added a matching leatherlite kit for my std which is perfect for a 2-day trip. Bought my wife Leatherlite tote for Christmas which she absolutely loves and perfect for the road warrior she is! During BOGO, loaded up on cloud hoodies and cross body's for the wife and I.
