When you opt-in for Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges at checkout, your return shipping label is included, allowing you to return any item(s) in your order for a refund or exchange for FREE. If you decide not to buy Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges you can still return your items, but you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label. All returns are subject to the guidelines outlined in our Return Policy. Please note that the original shipping fee and the $1.98 charge for Free Returns & Package Protection is always non-refundable.

We want you to shop confidently, which is why we're offering a generous 90-day return window for a full refund. If you decide within 90 days of your purchase that itās not quite right for you, simply return your item in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached) for a full refund.
If itās been more than 90 days, no worries! You are still eligible to make a return after 90 days, but instead of a refund you will receive store credit as long as the item(s) are unworn, unwashed, and has the original tags attached, weāll issue store credit for the current value of the product.

Stuck zippers

What ReGear Does Not Cover
ReGear is not intended for all forms of bag damage and does not currently cover:
Zippers separating from fabric
Broken zipper pulls
Separated zipper teeth
Damage caused by force, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs
Cosmetic wear and tear
Please note that if an issue is not eligible for ReGear, it may still qualify for warranty coverage. We encourage customers to submit a request through our warranty portal so our team can review the item and determine the best resolution.
Eligibility & Cost
Eligible Cascade bags within 2 years of purchase may qualify for complimentary repair.
For approved repairs outside the warranty period, customers are responsible for shipping costs.
One approved ReGear repair is available per warranty period.
How to Submit a ReGear Request
Submit your request through our warranty portal at https://returns.portlandgear.com and include:
Order number (required, including gifts)
Proof of purchase
Description of the issue
Clear photos of the bag and zipper
Incomplete submissions may delay review or approval.
Before Shipping Your Bag
Please make sure to:
Empty your bag completely
Remove all pins, accessories, keychains, and personal belongings
Package the bag securely
Portland Gear is not responsible for items left inside or attached to bags and cannot replace lost personal belongings.
Repair Resolution
Once received, your bag will be evaluated by our team. Depending on the condition of the item, we may:
Repair the bag
Replace the bag
Issue store credit
Offer a discounted replacement option
If a bag cannot be repaired, we will determine the best resolution based on warranty status and item condition.
Repair Turnaround Time
Typical ReGear turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks from the date the item is received.
6. Additional Notes for Luggage Returns, Exchanges & Warranties
To help us ensure every traveler receives luggage that meets our quality standards, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
Order numbers are required for all returns, exchanges, and warranty requests ā including gifts. Gift recipients must have the original order number to proceed.
Keep your original box. All luggage must be returned or exchanged in its original packaging.
Photo of wheels required. Returns and exchanges must include a clear photo of the bottoms of the wheels so our team can verify the item hasnāt been used.
Used luggage is not eligible for a full refund or exchange.
Warranty requests require detailed photos. Claims submitted without photos cannot be approved.
7. Special Circumstances
Incorrect Shipping Address
If you enter the wrong shipping address, contact us right away at team@portlandgear.com. Weāll do our best to update it before fulfillment, but we canāt guarantee changes once the order is processed.
After an order ships, we canāt modify the address or contact the carrier. You may reach out to the carrier directly, though changes arenāt guaranteed.
If the package is returned to us, we can resend it to the correct address at no cost. However, if itās not returned, weāre unable to replace or refund the order.
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout to avoid delivery issues.
Returning Multiple Orders in One Box
If you are returning items from multiple orders in the same package, you must include a note inside the box with the following information:
Your full name
All applicable order number(s)
A list of the item(s) being returned or exchanged
If requesting an exchange, clearly state the item and color you would like in return
This information is required so our warehouse team can properly identify and process your return. If a note is not included, our warehouse may not be able to match the items to the correct order. This can delay processing and may result in your return or exchange not being completed. To avoid delays, please ensure all required details are included inside the package before shipping it back.
International Returns & Exchanges
At this time, all international orders are considered final sale. As a small business, international shipping costs are extremely high, and there are frequent complications with customs when processing returns, exchanges, or warranty replacements. Because of this, we are unable to offer exchanges or returns on orders shipped outside of the United States.

The backpack is just perfect! It is everything that it is advertised to be! The blue is so beautiful. Can't wait to use it. I love how I don't dig around forever looking for things in this bag. I do have a bit of trouble with the side cascade zipper, but otherwise it's great.
Love this little bag for toiletries. Smart design and holds a lot. The only reason it gets four stars instead of five is the front zipper on the fold down section is not easy to pull closed. That section would benefit from a double zipper that opens easily from the top. Besides that, itās great!

If You Own the Cascade Backpack, This Is a Must-Have I absolutely love the Cascade Kit. I already own the Standard Cascade Backpack and take it with me practically everywhereāespecially to work in the ED. It has become my everyday carry. I bought the Cascade Kit because my old ātech bagā was starting to fall apart. The fabric was tearing in a few places and the zippers were beginning to lose their stitching after years of wear and tear. Since I was already so happy with the Cascade Backpack, I figured, why not get matching gear? I'm really glad I did. This kit holds a lot of itemsāseriously, a lot. Even when I toss it into my backpack, I still have plenty of space left in the bag, not even counting the backpackās outer pockets. But this review is about the kit itself, so I wonāt digress too much. Originally, I planned to use it strictly as a tech bag, but because of the space and organization, it has also become my toiletry bag for work. I like to keep up with personal hygiene during long shifts in the ED, so inside I carry things like sanitizer, moisturizer, a toothbrush, floss, toothpicks, toothpaste, two travel-size colognes, a hairbrush, a comb, gum (a must-have), and multiple chargers. And thatās just some of whatās inside. Even with all of that, there is still room for more. Iām actually keeping it somewhat light for now. I also have an international trip coming up in the next few months, and Iām seriously considering buying another Cascade Kit, along with either the large weekender or the duffle. The fact that I can build a set of matching travel and work gear that all share the same quality and design is something I really appreciate. Iāve already received quite a few compliments on both my backpack and the kit when I leave them out on my desk. If youāre considering getting one, youāll probably hear the same thing.

Love this toiletry bag! I did a bunch of research to find a bag that would work with how I travel and this perfectly fit the bill. It has a lot of room but packs down easily. It has some internal organization but is not overly engineered/designed. I also love the separation of things - in the front pocket I keep makeup items, the main pocket is for skincare things and meds, and then the back pocket holds my toothbrush and toothpaste. Great design, sturdy, and fits easily in other bags! And not to mention, cute!!
