Return/Exchange/Warranty Policy
1. Free Returns and Exchanges Available:
When you opt-in for Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges at checkout, your return shipping label is included, allowing you to return any item(s) in your order for a refund or exchange for FREE. If you decide not to buy Unlimited Free Returns/Exchanges you can still return your items, but you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label. All returns are subject to the guidelines outlined in our Return Policy. Please note that the original shipping fee and the $1.98 charge for Free Returns & Package Protection is always non-refundable.

2. Flexible Return Locations:
We offer you the flexibility to return or exchange your items either in-store or online, no matter where you initially purchased your order. Visit one of our physical locations to complete the return/exchange, or head to https://returns.portlandgear.com to complete through the mail. If you purchased your order in-store and don’t have a shipping address on file, you will need to email team@portlandgear.com for assistance.

We want you to shop confidently, which is why we're offering a generous 90-day return window for a full refund. If you decide within 90 days of your purchase that it’s not quite right for you, simply return your item in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached) for a full refund.

If it’s been more than 90 days, no worries! You are still eligible to make a return after 90 days, but instead of a refund you will receive store credit as long as the item(s) are unworn, unwashed, and has the original tags attached, we’ll issue store credit for the current value of the product.
We’ve made returns and exchanges hassle-free so you can always shop with peace of mind.

This warranty is valid for two years from the date of your original purchase. Please note, warranties are only offered on your original item. Replacements will not be eligible for warranties for any time period.

Claim Process:

Resolution:
Upon inspection, we will determine whether to repair, replace, or issue store credit for the defective item.
Limitation of Liability:
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the bag. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
5. Portland Gear ReGear Repairs
ReGear is Portland Gear's repair program designed to extend the life of your gear and reduce unnecessary waste by restoring eligible bags whenever possible.
What ReGear Covers
At this time, ReGear is focused on common zipper issues, including:

What ReGear Does Not Cover
ReGear is not intended for all forms of bag damage and does not currently cover:

Zippers separating from fabric

Broken zipper pulls

Separated zipper teeth

Damage caused by force, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs

Cosmetic wear and tear
Please note that if an issue is not eligible for ReGear, it may still qualify for warranty coverage. We encourage customers to submit a request through our warranty portal so our team can review the item and determine the best resolution.

For approved repairs outside the warranty period, customers are responsible for shipping costs.

Before Shipping Your Bag
Please make sure to:

Portland Gear is not responsible for items left inside or attached to bags and cannot replace lost personal belongings.
Repair Resolution
Once received, your bag will be evaluated by our team. Depending on the condition of the item, we may:

If a bag cannot be repaired, we will determine the best resolution based on warranty status and item condition.
Repair Turnaround Time
Typical ReGear turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks from the date the item is received.
6. Additional Notes for Luggage Returns, Exchanges & Warranties
To help us ensure every traveler receives luggage that meets our quality standards, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

Keep your original box. All luggage must be returned or exchanged in its original packaging.

Photo of wheels required. Returns and exchanges must include a clear photo of the bottoms of the wheels so our team can verify the item hasn’t been used.

Used luggage is not eligible for a full refund or exchange.

Warranty requests require detailed photos. Claims submitted without photos cannot be approved.
7. Special Circumstances
Incorrect Shipping Address
If you enter the wrong shipping address, contact us right away at team@portlandgear.com. We’ll do our best to update it before fulfillment, but we can’t guarantee changes once the order is processed.
After an order ships, we can’t modify the address or contact the carrier. You may reach out to the carrier directly, though changes aren’t guaranteed.
If the package is returned to us, we can resend it to the correct address at no cost. However, if it’s not returned, we’re unable to replace or refund the order.
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout to avoid delivery issues.
Returning Multiple Orders in One Box
If you are returning items from multiple orders in the same package, you must include a note inside the box with the following information:

If requesting an exchange, clearly state the item and color you would like in return
This information is required so our warehouse team can properly identify and process your return. If a note is not included, our warehouse may not be able to match the items to the correct order. This can delay processing and may result in your return or exchange not being completed. To avoid delays, please ensure all required details are included inside the package before shipping it back.
International Returns & Exchanges
At this time, all international orders are considered final sale. As a small business, international shipping costs are extremely high, and there are frequent complications with customs when processing returns, exchanges, or warranty replacements. Because of this, we are unable to offer exchanges or returns on orders shipped outside of the United States.
If there is an error with your order due to a mistake on our end (for example, you received the wrong item), please contact us at team@portlandgear.com and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution.
Please note that “ALL SALES FINAL” items are not covered under our return and exchange policy. This includes all personalized items.

I’m a sea of travel bag options, Portland Gear far exceeds them all! My husband ordered from Nobl (the black bag in video) and the quality difference is astounding. At the airport we also saw Beis bags, which was a good in between, but the overall aesthetic, quality, and functionalist of Portland Gear was a long stride ahead of both. I’m so impressed with every detail of my bag and am already picking out what backpack I want to get, and think I’ll get a matching roller bag too.
Bought this to be my new “boat bag” and I couldn’t be happier. I was looking for a tote bag but when I came across this, I realized my Sandcloud towels would roll up perfectly in the bottom compartment. It keeps the rest of the bag wide open. Love that it stands up too. Lots of great compartments. Can’t wait to use it. I only wish there were brighter colors. I have a Cascade backpack in yellow and it’s my fav.
Lovely bag! It started as a carry-on for a vacation and ended up as a checked bag on the way home. I was pleasantly surprised that it traveled well, wiped clean as noted and held more than expected! Looking forward to adding pieces to compliment this bag.

THIS BAG IS AMAZING!! We were traveling to the airport from our hotel and the uber driver's back hatch wasn't fully closed and flew open we pulled onto the main road and out tumbled my weekender bag by Portland gear. My bag rolled down the roll at least 4 complete turns (we were on a hill). Not only was everything in my bag safe (including my macbook) but the bag only had one little mark on it from it's unexpected adventure!! I am very impressed in how well it held up!
My first trip with the Weekender, I’m so excited! Love the bottom compartment and how the zipper “disappears”. Lots of convenient pockets and the structured opening at the top is great.

Calling the the weekender is almost not enough! It fits much more than a weekend worth of stuff! I recently started traveling more with a job, I couldn't have picked a better company and bag for my travels! I will have the whole collection eventually!
Needed to add a little versatility to our luggage arsenal that provided a good option between our Away Carry On and Medium size hard shell luggage and a simple backpack. Thinking this will fit the bill nicely. Packed up 2 full sets of clothes (including sweaters for cold weather) and even had space for 2 pairs of size 12 shoes underneath. I can absolutely see this bag becoming a new favorite for those quick 2-3 day, or "weekend", adventures. It's almost like they knew when they named it! ;)

I love everything about the bag. I had ordered me a backpack six months ago and I love it. I love the fact that I love the material and it's waterproof easy to keep clean very functional and so when I knew we were getting ready for this huge trip, I wanted to make sure my husband also had a nice duffel type bag and his essential bag for his toiletries. I also got the passport holder along with my cross purse. This bag is beautiful and I've seen a lot of bags out there. Knock off kinds that is not it is not does not compare to this bag and the functionality of it. Look forward to using it.
That’s TWO pair of knee high boots in the lower compartment and body filled for a full weeks trip ! Great looking and I love it . Zippers a bit tough but it may be because it’s brand new . Customer service is A+… OVERJOYED with this purchase !
This was my first trip with the bag, and I really love it. It packed well, and I had no issues. My only challenge was the toilette bag. I love the pocket for shoes and the keychain.
Love the weekender, lots of space, and I like the structure. It doesn’t stay open by itself like I thought it would based on the images on the website, but I can overlook that. It’s sturdy and great workmanship.My Standard Tote fits perfectly inside for easy storage.

I ordered the Weekender Bag because I was looking for something that would have better room for my hiking shoes/boots. This bag definitely did not disappoint. The bottom compartment even worked to safely store a Denver Broncos cowboy hat I ended buying in my most recent trip. I will definitely be buying another Weekender in the near future to have it as an emergency bag to leave in my vehicle at all times.

I am all about Portland Gear for travel . The backpack fit perfectly under the airplane seat. The back pack was jam packed it held my laptop, clothing and my cascade kit filled with essentials. The weekend tote will be perfect and will actually hold more than a weekend of travel needs . Next up I am ordering the duffle bag for my husband .
Took this on my trip to Disneyland and ended up checking it on the way home (as I bought way too much at the park) and it held up perfectly through the rough and tumble baggage handlers. I ran a retractable cable lock through all the zippers and everything was safe and sound and nothing damaged inside! I could but a whole fleet of these bags!!

Have it ready for a gift
I regret buying this bag, although the construction is excellent and it holds a lot of stuff in reality at my age of 72 there is no way that I can carry this thing through an airport because it’s far too heavy. Even with the cross body strap, anytime I use this to travel. I’m going to have to rent a cart. It was an expensive error in judgement on my part. It will be great for car trips
